Pretty soon I will be in England pounding the pavement looking for a job. I am not sure how different the job market or job hunt will be from what they are here in the States, but I don’t care. I am going to do the necessary research, relationship building and networking.
My head says to be scared – to be sure I am depleting my savings accounts to do this – but more than that, it says be excited for the chance to see friends, feel the ocean breeze on Brighton Beach and use phrases such as “He’s fit.” and “Are you alright?”. And if everything works according to the plan, I will not be returning home. I will find a job in England and start a life.
I guess we’ll see what happens.
Stay tuned for the planning, playing, prodding and precariousness.
